What do you think is in store for the religious community?

Foremost biblical scholar and professor Niels Peter Lemche in his book "The Israelites in History and Tradition" admits that there is no historicity to the Israelite legends.

He states: "According to prevalent view, almost any source should be given priority in the analysis of humankind’s historical past".

This is total capitulation; while he tries to justify the Biblical material for inspirational purposes he is telling every preacher and Imam who tries to state the Bible is accurate: "You are a liar"!

While this and a great many other books of the same nature are mainly read among the "scholarly elite" what do you think is in store for the religious community now?

I think the religious community will continue to be assaulted by scientific discoveries and research.

The Church of England’s been preaching that sort of thing for years. Not sure they even accept God anymore.

One book cannot unravel thousands of years of Judaism, Christianity or even Islam.
