I have a novel idea …
I have a novel idea, how about we stop quibling over who’s theory of afterlife is superior to each other, and actually do something useful like pay attention to what Randy Pausch’s advice is, and therefore benefit society. Having listened to his words have inspired me to be a better person. My heart goes out to the Pausch Family, I am sure it is still a difficult time for them. May his children be reminded of the man their father was. RIP Randy Pausch.

The bottom line is …
The bottom line is that no one knows what will happen to us after we die. Some people believe that we will meet the master of the universe and it will judge us, but they have no evidence to support their claim. The simple point is that this kind of thing is beyond the realm of what a human being can know and therefore must be left to faith. Those that believe that they will meet their maker and be judged by it, cannot know that this will happen. They simply believe it so.

woah hold the phone …
woah hold the phone, Darwin’s theory is a theory my friend. One that he developed over time as it changed and formed, and one that can not be proven because of the incomplete fossil record and so on. There is no way you can deny adaptation or even basic natural selection, however natural selection can’t cause a change in species, how could one life form evolve into the variety of life we have today? and where did the first spark of life come? the theory is off observation, and wikipedia? really?

They’ll probably start WW3, go to internet 2, force-vaccinate many in Fall and stage an alien invasion to get a fascist world government with you microchipped so resist! im sorry but i dont see living in fear of what will happen 2 me in the afterlife if i make a wrong choice as a very sensible lifestyle choice
u live and u learn and whatever happens after happens not by fate but by the way u hav lived ur life
and im gonna in live my life
not the 1 that “jesus” thinks i should
but thats just my opinion and respect any other views by every1 else

fodorzsuzsi Says:

Shhh. I wonder why …
Shhh. I wonder why debates like this can burn in such a way. You have a right not to believe, everybody respects that. None of us can prove the existence of God or his non-existence. I see you are interested in science. Here’s a small thing for you: once Einstein said that a man can possess only 1% of all the knowledge that there is; if he uses his brain to all limits. God can exist in the remaining 99%. You make an absolute statement with a mind that has boundaries.

Schytz88 Says:

You can’t say that …
You can’t say that Darwins theory is “believing” it has been proven time after time. Religious peoples answer to this was: “But the eye is so complex that there must have been a designer, because you can’t use “half” finished eyes”
Try to google “Evolution of the eye” and look in Wikipedias page.
Everything in science needs to be proven, as long as it is unproven it’s NOTHING, it’s the same for religion, all you people believe in NOTHING.
And that my mislead little friend, is af proven fact.

Schytz88 Says:

And religious …
And religious people are idiots “I’m sorry I killed him, it was gods will, he said I had to kill him so I did”
Not only is this person not able to take responsibility for his actions, he gives the blame to “god”.
Religion have always pulled down science, great minds have been banned from countries and locked up in their own homes because of their theories and “missbelieve” in “god”.
We are at least 10years behind because of religious people have slowed it down.

Schytz88 Says:

Am I not listening …
Am I not listening to life itself?
WTF does that mean? Because I’m not a “believer” I’m lower than YOU? Are you saying because I’m not giving “god” blame for all the good and bad things I’m not living life to the fullest?
You are even more stupid than “Dandan688″
There is no god, period.
Religion makes people do VERY stupid things, like killing daughters because they’ve brought shame to the family.

pmerric Says:

Life is a blessing, …
Life is a blessing, and when we live it using the passion and gifts that God has blessed everyone with….and do it as our love for God and for others, that is the best kind of living. Everyone has a purpose, everyone has a responsibility to love and respect others through their life and their talents. Many of us are bitter when others speak of believing in something/someone higher than themselves, because their life does not recognize what it is to live. God bless Randy’s family and kids.

pmerric Says:

No, you are not …
No, you are not listening to life itself Schytz. As one whose faced major obstacles, including sickness, trusting in Jesus was the breath that saved my life. Anyone can die today whether in good health or not, but where will you go afterwards? If one says trust in Jesus, that is not an off the cuff response, that is life. As one whose been sick and was healed against the odds, and seen others see miracles of coming back after almost dying with no scientific explanation, but believed in Jesus.

Schytz88 Says:

Damn you are stupid …
you are stupid, dandan688

dandan688 Says:

You could die today …
You could die today. Repent and trust in Jesus.

>”So sad he died, …
>”So sad he died, so much bad in this world.”

I just want to ask,

Had you ever heard of this man before he was dying or dead?

Im guessing you didn’t and even if you did there are millions who didn’t.

In his death he was able to change so many peoples lives.
In this case, his death has changed more lives for the better than it has for the worse.

Truly a great man and I hope many people have been as touched as I am from his outlook on life.
