neither i’d break it. why would i want to spend my last 7 days reading about god or no god give me the necrenomicon and ill make myself live longer(hopefully)

Having just finished The God Delusion it would have to be Evidence for Truth to see whether science can put forward a valid argument for the existence of god.

heh, I think if I read anything I would read a book on how to survive whatever was killing me.

I would also probably not read anyways. I’d rather drive cars fast or something.

You’re mad. If I only had 7 days to live I’d spend every second of it with my 3 year old daughter and my wife. So my last book will probably be Winnie the Pooh.

I’ve read the God Delusion, it’s ok but Dawkins’ other books are better. I doubt if i will read it again. If I live another hundred years I’m not going to waste a week reading creationist claptrap.

Amazon.co.uk show The God Delusion as their 139th best selling book. Evidence for Truth trails at 453,779th.

I’m currently reading Steven Mithen’s After the Ice. Its a serious scholarly attempt to portray early human history (20,000 to 5,000 BC) based on research, evidence and analysis, backed up by a huge amount of notes and detailed references to the painstaking research of others over the last century. A fascinating story and much better than any creationist fantasy.

I’ve already read both.
The first has the much better arguments, though I hate Richard Dawkins’ tone.
Science is just the first volume of Peace’s book series: he works on archaeology, miracles and angels (!?) and prophecy in his subsequent ones. A wide-ranging expert, it seems.

My "going out" reading?
Possibly Neil Gaiman’s "Sandman" series.

I choose the Holy Bible and count the glorious minutes quit work so I can spend all day with my wife in bed listen to Phil Keaggy and my other fav Christian artists get a great bottle of scotch leave a will read some great theologians and then die with a great smile on my face much like Stephen when he was being stoned to death.

Well neither really, why spend your time reading a book? Unless I were forced to than I would read Evidence for Truth, only because I am an atheist and curious of what evidence of truth do they really mean?
