What is the best Canadian university for someone considering a major in Political Science?
I’m graduating from highschool next year and am looking into possible schools for post-secondary education. After recieving my undergraduate degree in Political Science I’m planning on attending law school. There are a lot of choices, and I am lost. I live in Vancouver B.C, but am willing to travel to other places.
From what I’ve heard, there are only a few schools (in Canada) worth mentioning for political science.
They are:
Carleton University
University of Ottawa
University of Toronto
Queen’s University
University of British Columbia
Of these schools, U of T, Queen’s and UBC have a great OVERALL reputation to go along with a great poli sci program… so that might help if you if you want to branch out. However, because Carleton and U of O are in the political centre of Canada, there are so many more opportunities there.
