In addition, this …
In addition, this guy is manipulating an opportunity to speak about government so he can campaign and champion a bill he authored. Although the bill is positive, this is not a place to do so.

anthony31587 Says:

While I appreciate …
While I appreciate the candor of a respected politician, his political bent unfortunately perpetuates the prevalent model of thinking that has been a mainstay at Berkeley ever since its 1964 demonstrations.

Good point… will …
Good point… will take anything you got.

knightsofbob Says:

Depends on what …
Depends on what economic theory you with to observe.

Can you link me to any good posts that explain the global economic situation

Anyone know about …
Anyone know about the history of Amerika and his discovering the west coast and why we are concidered the united states of America, and not the United states of Columbus? Or why Washington DC is concidered District of Columbia and America? Something tells me that our best intentions are not first on their list for some reason. I’m sure there’s a big library there at Berkely to research all of these things for people to form real oppinions about politics and taxes.

DescryHidden Says:

You may want to …
You may want to change your majors to farming and gardening. Because this is what you’ll need to know when this depression hits. Well atleast until they raise your land taxes so high and come to seize your land too. Seriously.. this is where this country is headed. Its pathetic that education would cost a thing. Everyone in America is depressed.. that should tell you something. People are self medicating with drugs and alcohol for a reason just to cope. Its pathetic

DescryHidden Says:

On more thing… I …
On more thing… I can’t blame Iraq or Iran, or Syria or anyone for not wanting to mess with us. Our government are master businessmen who are demolishing their own country for the sake of the dollar. Just think what they would do to another country? This is what these people do. They eat, sleep, drink, and new ways to make a dollar off of everything they can get their hands on for the idea of SUCCESS! I wonder how successful they will be when they realize they destroyed the world?

DescryHidden Says:

Has anyone ever …
Has anyone ever figured the payment of taxes to government? We are not in a deficit. They are making TONS of money. 50 trillion dollars is hardly anything. I pay 1000 dollars a week in taxes. How many americans? 100 million? I am 1 person. How many others make that, and more, and less. Add it all together. Its how the rich get rich, they play broke and horde their money. Let the rich pay their own taxes and we wouldn’t be in this so called rut.

DescryHidden Says:

Stop investing in …
Stop investing in 401k plans, stop putting your money in banks for them to use to only loan it to someone else. Stop spending money and MAKE the government budget. Make them budget the deficit. We have more power in our hands then we realize, but they keep us side tracked. What a disgrace.

Stop giving your children into their greedy wars for huge profits at the sake of human life. Its tasteless, pointless, and if they will kill other human beings for a belief, then they will do the same to U!

DescryHidden Says:

The media is very …
The media is very powerful, and they know it. I stopped watching news and started watching YouTube. I ure you, for now it will be free, but it won’t be long before they will realize how they can monopolize this too. Mark my words!!! This is just the time to get people hooked, then the fee will be applied. We are a country of merchants where we deny human beings for the sake of a dollar. We will destroy ourselves through the monetary system. All of our struggles tell us this but we dont see!

DescryHidden Says:

To be totally …
To be totally honest… there’s nothing none of us can do. We see the most obvious of things that need to be changed, and we can’t get them changed. It will always be for the rich, and you have to join their crookedness to become rich. And who wants riches that way if they lose their soul?

The truth of the fact is this.. they need us voters to take interest so they can keep it looking like a free and happy society when we’re really a country of crooked law makers ripping off the people.

but i don’t see how a war over there results in safety over here. If anything, us attacking them would only INCREASE their motivation to attack us.

HOWEVER, i do apologize for my previous comments up there. I’m a bit more neautral on the subject now.

alexebling Says:

A) They’re ignorant …
A) They’re ignorant, because they only watch media like FOX news and believe the war is helping us somehow.
B) They’re too stubborn to admit they were wrong.
C) They’re Republican and too stubborn to admit Bush was wrong.

But that’s just my theory

This guy showed up just in time to prove the instructor’s point about professional politicians. He has been in several different offices of comparable power, and as lieutenant governor, he still has any number of offices to run to.
