How important is choosing a graduate program where the majority of the faculty have PhD’s?

I was interested in a Master’s program at an artsy-school but I realized that about 90% of the faculty members are not PhD’s. Especially if I am interested in applying to a Doctoral program afterwards, is that going to be problematic since these are the people who are writing my recommendations?

Go to where there are Ph.D. degrees… Where are you applying, by the way? Even Art Schools have faculty with Ph.Ds.

All that the doctoral schools care about is that your school is accredited. If it is, it is fine.
